Hey friend,
Lately, my body has been speaking to me. Or maybe I’m now listening.
For the past three weeks, I’ve been dealing with vertigo. Some days, I feel okay. Other days, I can’t do much at all.
And honestly? It’s frustrating because there are things I want and love to do—but my body has been saying no.
So, every chance I get throughout the day, I place my hand on my body, take a deep breath, and ask - What do you need?
And I listen.
I used to think rest was resistance. That if I slowed down, I would lose momentum.
Rest isn’t a pause.
It’s part of the process.
When your body asks you to slow down, it’s not working against you. It’s working for you. It’s guiding you back to balance, whether you like it or not.
And maybe this is the real Valentine’s gift—the kind of love that doesn’t come in a box or a bouquet. The love that asks, What do you need?—and waits for an answer.
When was the last time you truly listened to your body? Not just notice the pain or the exhaustion, but ask what it needs.
Take a deep breath.
Check in. And trust what it’s telling you in the moment.
Wishing you great health,
Vee
